Hand-painted art production company for hospitality art firms

iHomeArt paints the original canvases in hotel art packages for hospitality art companies and hotel-art manufacturers, as an art production company working to your artwork, your colour standard and your dates. Every canvas is checked against your approved control piece in stage photographs you can forward to the designer, and nothing we paint is signed, so the work reaches the hotel under your name alone.

Which lines of a hotel art package suit a hand-painted art production company?

The lines where the paint is the point: the reception wall, the suites, anything textured or in relief, and any run the brand standard calls original artwork, while one image repeated at a fixed unit cost belongs in your print shop.

Most packages of artwork for the hospitality industry mix media: your shop prints, frames and installs the bulk, and the hand-painted share is smaller, more visible and harder to source well. The lines worth placing with a painter:

  • Hero walls. Reception and the lobby lounge, the restaurant's long wall: close enough to see brushwork, and often larger than anything sold ready-made.
  • Suites. One or two originals per key where the room rate carries it, often a pair or a related series; see guest-room and suite works.
  • Texture and relief. Plaster, combed ridges and palette-knife work, which a print imitates in a photograph but not on the wall. See the textured collection.
  • Guest-room runs specified as original. When the owner's brief says hand-painted, a run of 100 or 300 is painted to one colour standard.

Where a line could go either way, tell us, and we quote the painted option so you can put both in front of the owner.

Can an art production company paint to our own artwork and spec images?

Yes. Send the artwork file from your studio, the spec image from the concept book or a catalogue code, and it is painted by hand at the size and orientation on your schedule.

What to send depends on where the design came from:

Your studio's designs
Digital artwork, a painted original or a sketch, painted on canvas at your size. A design that is yours to use needs nothing more.
A licensed artist's image
Hand-painted reproductions are offered once the rights holder has given permission, so send that permission with the file.
The hotel's own material
The view from the roof terrace, the façade, a crest or the brand mark, painted from a photograph: see paintings from your own image.
Our catalogue
Some 1,300 ready designs, each of which can be resized, recoloured to the scheme or varied into a related series.

Digital artwork changes a little on its way into paint: gradients pick up brushwork and hairline detail thickens. We point out at quotation where your file will read differently on canvas, and the early stage photographs show the composition while a proportion or a crop can still move.

How is one colour standard held across hundreds of hand-painted pieces?

Agree the standard before painting starts, prove it on one control piece, then check every canvas's stage photographs against that control.

Colour is where a run drifts, so fix the reference in a form the painter can mix to and you can check from a photograph.

Identical, colourway or varied: how should a 200-piece run be specified?

Say which of the three each line is, because each is painted and checked differently, and say where repeats may hang side by side.

Identical repeats. One code, one palette, one size, for a corridor or standard-room line where the brand wants the same image throughout. Each canvas is painted by hand, so the pieces are close siblings rather than clones: composition and colour hold, while the brushwork differs the way handwriting does. That difference is why the line is painted, and worth telling the owner up front.

Colourways. One composition in two to four palettes, often one per floor or wing, so the programme reads as one while each floor keeps its own colour. Each colourway gets its own control.

Varied series. The Vary route paints related compositions from one work, so no two rooms on a floor repeat yet the run belongs together; suite pairs and diptychs too.

Write the variation rules onto the schedule: how many colourways, which rooms may repeat, and whether mirror-plan rooms take mirrored compositions. The hotel's side of the same job is on hotel guest-room programmes.

How do we check a run we will not see until it lands?

Through the stage photographs: every canvas is photographed or filmed as it is painted, each next stage waits for your approval, and you approve a final photograph of every piece before anything ships.

The photographs come to you, so you can pass them to your designer or file them in your project tracker while the run is still on the easel.

  1. Control piecePainted first, photographed at each stage; once approved, its photographs are the reference for the line.
  2. Release the runThe whole line or one batch at a time, against the quoted dates, on the 50% payment against the proforma invoice.
  3. Early stagesComposition and base colours checked against the control: the cheapest moment to correct anything.
  4. Later stagesTexture, detail and finishing, each photographed and approved before the next.
  5. Final photographEach finished canvas photographed for your approval and marked with your line code; the balance is paid.
  6. To your consigneeShipped to the address set for that batch, with the tracking number sent as it leaves.

White-label artwork: whose name reaches the hotel?

Yours. Our pieces are not signed, so no painting carries our name, and the quote, the photographs and the invoices come to you, never to the hotel.

Packaging and paperwork are where a supplier's name usually slips through, so settle them at quotation. Tell us what the tubes, boxes and labels should show, such as your project reference and line codes, and what should travel with a batch sent straight to site, and we confirm in the quote what we can do.

Each quote goes to you alone, so the figure you put to the owner is yours to set.

One thing to plan for: our catalogue is public, so a curious owner could find a catalogue design on this site. Lines painted from your own artwork, or recoloured and varied well away from the original, avoid that. If a design should be painted only for you, we can agree that in advance.

Will you ever deal with our hotel client directly?

Only if you ask us to. We take instructions from you and report to you; the owner, the designer and the site team hear from us only when and as you arrange.

iHomeArt is the trade channel of Siji Art Hub, Foshan, and working behind a hospitality art company suits us: you hold the relationship with the owner, the brand and the designer, and we keep to the painting.

A delivery to site needs someone for the carrier to call: give us the contact you choose, your installer or the hotel's receiving dock. If the designer wants to follow the work, forward our stage photographs from your own address; nothing in the process requires an introduction.

Can an art manufacturing company keep pace with overlapping hotel openings?

Yes, when each project reaches us early: the quote for every project sets a date for each batch, planned around the work you already have with us.

Three openings land in the same quarter, a fourth is out to bid and a fifth moves its handover. What keeps the painted lines on time is notice:

  • Send the pipeline, not only the order. Quantities and target dates for projects you expect to win help us plan the dates we quote.
  • Batch by zone. Floors, wings or public areas released in the order the site is being fitted out, each with its own date in the quote.
  • Keep one-off lines apart. A replacement or a late addition is a single piece: about 10 days to paint, then express delivery, without waiting for a batch.
  • Tell us the moment a date moves. Batches still to be painted are re-planned around it.

A large run can travel by air or sea freight rather than express; whichever route suits the order, its delivery date is written into the quote.

Your workshop or straight to site: where should each batch ship?

Lines your shop stretches and frames travel rolled to your workshop, lines that must arrive ready to hang go stretched or framed to site, and one order can split between the two.

ConsigneeFinishWhy
Your workshopRolled, in a tubeThe lightest, cheapest and quickest to send. Your framers stretch and frame to your own standard, alongside the print lines.
A consolidatorRolled, stretched or framedJoins the rest of the FF&E for one delivery to the hotel.
The hotel siteStretched, or framed in gold, silver, black, white or wood, boxed with hooksReady to hang the day the boxes open; the bulkiest to send, so keep it for lines nobody will frame on site.

Relief, plaster and heavy knife texture travel stretched or framed, since a tube would crack them; if a textured line must reach your workshop rolled, we can agree a thinner texture before painting. We arrange each shipment with the carrier, find the best route for the address and confirm the cost with you before dispatch.

Can the hotel reorder the same piece five years from now?

Yes. Keep the code or your artwork file, the line's spec and the approved final photograph, and the piece is painted again to that record.

Reorders come in three kinds: a damaged room piece replaced, a second phase or a refurbished wing, and a sister property that wants the same look. Every piece is painted to order rather than drawn from stock, so a reorder never depends on a run still sitting on a shelf.

The record you already hold makes it work: the catalogue code or your own file, the size, colourway and finish, and the final photographs from the first order. The new canvas is painted against them and approved stage by stage like the first. It is a new hand-painted original, so it matches as a sibling painted from the same spec does.

The painted lines of a 180-key hotel package, as an art company might place them

An illustrative order built from catalogue works; the print lines and installation stay with the art company.

  1. Line A-00: control piece for the guest-room family, approved before the run
Overlapping greige and cream planes with olive wedges, recoloured to the designer's scheme; 1 piece102 × 76 cm (40 × 30 in), rolled
  2. Lines A-01 to A-120: standard rooms, floors 2–7
The same greige and olive geometric in three colourways, one per pair of floors, each held to its control; 120 pieces102 × 76 cm (40 × 30 in), rolled to the art company's workshop for framing
  3. Lines B-01 to B-30: king rooms and suites
Two blue-grey poppies on tall stems, varied into a related series so that neighbouring rooms differ; 30 pieces122 × 91 cm (48 × 36 in), rolled to the workshop
  4. Lines C-01 to C-12: lift lobbies, one per floor
Orange persimmon boughs over misty grey mountains in the tall format, as identical repeats; 12 pieces102 × 203 cm (40 × 80 in), stretched, boxed to site
  5. Line D-01: reception hero wall
Spreading white blossom tree with gold flecks on grey, at the largest listed panoramic size; 1 piece127 × 254 cm (50 × 100 in), wood frame, boxed to site
  6. Lines E-01 to E-04: restaurant
Combed gold and bronze ridges in relief, shipped stretched because relief does not roll; 4 pieces122 × 81 cm (48 × 32 in), stretched, boxed to site

Art production for hospitality art companies: what they ask us

Can you paint a sample for our pitch before the hotel signs?

Yes. The minimum order is one piece, so a pitch sample is an ordinary order: painted from your concept image or a catalogue code at the size you will propose, photographed at each stage and shipped to your studio. If the bid is won, it can become the control piece for the run.

Do we have to tell you the name of the hotel?

No. A project reference, the line codes, sizes, palettes, quantities, dates and delivery addresses are all we need to quote and paint. A batch going straight to site needs that address and a contact for the carrier, but the project can otherwise stay under your own reference throughout.

Can your team design a line when our own studio is fully booked?

Yes. If a line on the schedule still needs a design, we can design it for the project, depending on its budget and needs, working from the concept book and the scheme. You approve a sketch before it is painted, and the finished line goes out under your project reference like every other.

Who handles a damaged canvas if the batch went straight to the hotel?

Damage is rare: careful packing and trusted carriers keep our return rate under 0.01%. If it happens, ask whoever received the batch to photograph the box and the piece and send the photos to you. Pass them on to us, and we take the claim up with the carrier and work out a solution with you, such as a replacement or a refund.

How fast can you price a schedule against our bid deadline?

A quote usually arrives within one business day when each line carries a reference, a size, a quantity and a finish. Send the schedule as you keep it, spreadsheet or PDF, with the bid date. Every line is priced separately, with volume pricing from 10 pieces, so you can build your margin line by line.

We are a purchasing agent or an art consultant. Is there a page for us?

Yes. A purchasing agent buying the art line of an FF&E schedule has FF&E procurement agents; a consultant who selects and commissions for the owner has art consultants; and a hotel group buying for its own rooms has hotel guest-room programmes. Each is written around that buyer's own job.
