About this painting

Six figures stand shoulder to shoulder across a long canvas, most of them cut off at the neck by the top edge, their bodies split into interlocking planes of cream, ochre gold, smoke gray and black like pieces of a stone mosaic. Thin dark contour lines run over and through them, so the hip of one figure becomes the edge of the next.

Each plane has a mottled, weathered fill: fine crackle in the cream torso at far left, a dusty gold wash across the upper centre, near-black shapes that sink back. One arm reaches across the middle, the only gesture in an otherwise still row.

AA#767 is an original abstract figurative painting showing faceted cubist standing figures in gold, cream, brown and black, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 24×20 in (61×51 cm) to 80×60 in (203×153 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

The long, low proportion is made for walls much wider than they are tall: above a banquette running the length of a restaurant, behind a reception counter, or over a sideboard on the long side of a dining room. Its earthy palette settles into travertine, smoked glass, walnut and greige upholstery, and champagne or brass fittings pick up the gold. Light it evenly along its whole length; a single spotlight at the centre leaves the outer figures in shade.

Specified for restaurant & bar, lobby & reception, living room and dining room; it reads as cozy & warm and peaceful.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for AA#767 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 24×20 in to 80×60 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on AA#767 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Are the figures in AA#767 meant to be particular people?

No. They are anonymous standing bodies, simplified into curved planes in the manner of cubist figure studies, with no faces or individual features. That anonymity lets the canvas sit in a hotel lobby or restaurant without telling a specific story.

How do the gold and black planes of AA#767 behave against a gray wall?

Against mid gray the gold and cream figures come forward and the black shapes merge a little with the wall, so the row seems to float. On warm white the black planes gain weight and the whole painting turns more graphic and contrasty.

Is AA#767 a print or an original painting?

An original. AA#767 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of AA#767 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
