About this painting

Concentric arcs sweep around an unseen centre beyond the upper right corner, like the growth rings of a cut trunk, each band built from hundreds of tiny raised white marks set close together. The upper half is warm, ochre and gold deepening to bronze and almost black along the edge of every band.

A diagonal from mid-left to lower right then splits the canvas, and below it the same ring pattern carries on faintly over soft dove grey and white. Close up the combed plaster looks like lace or crazed glaze; seen from a doorway it becomes rippling grain.

TA#1065 is an original textured painting showing combed ridged arcs in gold, bronze and brown flowing into grey and white, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a sculpted relief surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

With every band bending toward that top right corner, the composition has a direction of travel, which suits an entry niche or the end wall of a long passage, met head-on as people approach. Its bronze and ash tones sit naturally beside honed marble, smoked oak and charcoal joinery. In a guest bedroom it belongs opposite the bed, not over it, so the fine combed lattice stays in view from the bed itself.

Specified for guest room & suite, corridor & circulation, entryway & hallway and bedroom; it reads as cozy & warm and calming.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for TA#1065 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Because the surface is not rolled, the choice is between stretched, ready to hang, and stretched in a frame; a frame costs more.
Surface
Sculpted relief is built up in layers with drying time between them, so it costs more than a flat painting of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on TA#1065 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is TA#1065 a sea or wave painting?

No. The arcs are abstract: closely spaced combed ridges that sweep around an off-canvas centre at the upper right, nearer to tree rings, wind-rippled sand or a magnified fingerprint than to waves. The diagonal split between bronze and grey is the only strong line in it.

What do the white marks in TA#1065 look like up close?

Each band is made of short, broken white ridges set side by side like rows of tiny stitches. Between them the darker bronze or grey ground shows through, so at arm's length the surface looks porous and lacy, while from a few metres the rows merge into smooth curves.

Is TA#1065 a print or an original painting?

An original. TA#1065 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of TA#1065 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
