About this painting

Dozens of stylised leaves, fronds, seed pods and blooms lock together like cut paper from edge to edge, each shape edged in dark brown and filled with ochre, mustard, rust, olive, plum or cream. Many carry a pattern of their own: leopard-like spots, a striped teal leaf near the top, a chain of gold seed shapes snaking down right of centre, or white feathery sprays on the left.

Between the plant forms run bands of dusty pink, slate blue and lilac, like glimpses of sky or striped fabric. The surface is flat and graphic, with crisp edges instead of visible brushstrokes.

XA#478 is an original maximalist floral painting showing dense collage of stylised leaves, fronds and blooms in ochre, brown and purple, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

With an autumn palette and no empty ground, it belongs on walls where people pause rather than settle: behind a restaurant host stand, behind a boutique cash desk, or in an entrance hall seen through the front door. Dark wood, brass, terracotta and olive velvet pick up its colours. Keep the surfaces around it plain, because patterned wallpaper or a busy rug would compete with it.

Specified for restaurant & bar, gallery & retail, entryway & hallway and home office; it reads as cozy & warm and bold.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for XA#478 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on XA#478 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Which colour in XA#478 is best to repeat in the room?

Ochre is the backbone: it covers more of the canvas than any other colour, so a mustard chair, a brass lamp or an ochre cushion links the room to the painting. Use the plum and slate-blue bands for smaller accents; they are the cool counterweight that keeps the warm palette from feeling heavy.

What kind of design does XA#478 draw on?

It borrows from mid-century cut-paper collage and printed textiles: flat colour, outlined shapes and small repeating motifs such as spots, stripes and scales packed edge to edge. It reads as decorative pattern more than a botanical study, so it sits well in eclectic and maximalist interiors.

Is XA#478 a print or an original painting?

An original. XA#478 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of XA#478 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
