About this painting

A sky-blue hand, a hot pink petal and a mustard hand-shaped comb crowd a square canvas packed edge to edge with pattern. No open ground is left: every gap fills with black-and-white polka dots, a row of orange beads, a yellow zigzag or ribbed green fronds. A cobalt outline shaped like a bowl holds the middle, and a red disc ringed in blue at the upper left answers black-and-white arcs on the right.

The acrylic is flat and opaque, laid in clean blocks with crisp edges, so the picture works through colour and rhythm alone. A pale blue starburst lightens the bottom edge.

XA#203 is an original maximalist floral painting showing crowded pattern of hands, leaves, dots and stripes in saturated colour, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 10 standard sizes run from 24×24 in (61×61 cm) to 72×72 in (183×183 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

With seven strong colours and no horizon, the square needs a plain wall of its own and a metre of clear space either side. It works behind the counter of a design shop or creative agency, at the far end of a run of desks, or over a walnut credenza in a living room. Let the furnishings take one or two of its colours, cobalt or pink, rather than all seven, so the canvas leads and the room supports it.

Specified for workspace & office, gallery & retail, living room and home office; it reads as bold and uplifting.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for XA#203 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 24×24 in to 72×72 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on XA#203 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What are the hand shapes in XA#203 meant to suggest?

They are decorative motifs rather than coded symbols. The blue hand at the lower left and the yellow, comb-like hand at the top right repeat the same open-fingered silhouette, which gives a very busy pattern two clear anchors and a playful, human note among the leaves and dots.

Which colour in XA#203 should the rest of the room pick up?

Cobalt is the safest lead, because it outlines the central bowl, fills the left hand and colours the starburst flower, so a blue chair or rug ties into the largest shapes. Pink makes a good second accent; leave the orange and yellow to the canvas itself.

Is XA#203 a print or an original painting?

An original. XA#203 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of XA#203 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
