About this painting

One white bloom fills almost the whole square, its petals shaded cornflower blue toward the base and running off three edges of the canvas. At the centre sits a dark navy heart flecked with gold dots and ringed by a few spiky stamens, and a single thin stem curves away to the lower right.

The petals are painted in long, sweeping strokes that follow their length, with crisp white highlights along the turned edges. Behind them the grey ground is mottled and scumbled, paler in the top left and lower right corners, so the flower seems to float in mist.

HA#897 is an original hyperrealist floral painting showing large pale-blue and white anemone-like bloom close-up on grey, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 10 standard sizes run from 24×24 in (61×61 cm) to 72×72 in (183×183 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Square and soft-edged, it sits comfortably centred above a bed or over a low credenza in a meeting room, where its quiet blue cools down a busy table. The palette belongs with dove-grey walls, pale blue-grey upholstery, smoked glass and white marble. Very warm bulbs grey the blue down, so a neutral white light keeps the petals clean, and strong colour on neighbouring walls will swamp the pale ground.

Specified for spa & wellness, guest room & suite, meeting & boardroom and bedroom; it reads as calming and peaceful.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for HA#897 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 24×24 in to 72×72 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on HA#897 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is the flower in HA#897 an anemone?

It reads as one: broad, rounded white petals around a dark, almost black centre are the mark of the white anemone that florists sell in early spring. The handling is loose, not botanical, so some see a cosmos in it, and it is fairest to call it an anemone-like bloom.

Why is the bloom in HA#897 cropped at the edges?

The close crop is what makes it modern. With petals running off the top, left and right, the canvas shows no vase or horizon, only scale, which lets it hold a large wall without looking like a botanical study. The dark centre, placed just up and to the left of the middle, gives the eye a place to land.

Is HA#897 a print or an original painting?

An original. HA#897 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of HA#897 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
