A coastline breaks into pastel fragments: cliffs and headlands step down from the upper right in cobalt, navy, olive and cream, while the sea at left turns from cornflower blue to a pale shell pink. A thin peach band of sky sits high on the canvas, so most of the square is land and water seen from above.

Broad, flat sweeps of acrylic with crisp edges make up the surface, wet enough in places to leave small drips under the cream outcrops. Accents are few and carefully placed: a magenta streak on the rocks, a crimson touch at right and a sliver of burnt orange along the bottom edge.
