About this painting

White moth orchids spill from the mouth of a blue-and-white porcelain vase and arch away to the left, the spray ending in a single green bud that dangles beside the lower body of the vase. Each bloom has a bright orange throat, and nothing else in the picture is warm.

The vase is painted in close detail: a phoenix with spread wings on the shoulder, a crane under a flowering plum branch in a lobed panel, tall petal shapes around the foot. It stands on a dark grey plinth edged with a key-fret band, against a sky blue ground washed in soft, cloudy patches.

HA#003 is an original hyperrealist still life painting showing white orchids in a blue-and-white Chinese ginger jar, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Set it above a console or a dark lacquered sideboard and the painted plinth reads as an extension of the furniture, with the vase rising out of it. In a hotel reception or a private dining room it pairs naturally with real porcelain, white marble and dark rosewood. Neutral light of around 4000K keeps the sky blue clean; very warm lamps push it towards grey-green.

Specified for guest room & suite, meeting & boardroom, bedroom and lobby & reception; it reads as peaceful and calming.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for HA#003 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on HA#003 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What do the motifs on the vase in HA#003 mean?

The phoenix on the shoulder and the crane under plum blossom are classic blue-and-white porcelain motifs. The crane is often read as a wish for long life, the phoenix as good fortune and the plum as resilience, since it flowers in late winter, which is why the pairing feels at home in reception areas.

Does HA#003 show visible brushstrokes?

Very few. The orchids and the porcelain pattern are drawn with fine, careful lines and smooth blending, close to botanical illustration. Only the sky blue ground is looser, with cloudy washes, so the canvas looks precise from across a room and soft only when you stand near it.

Is HA#003 a print or an original painting?

An original. HA#003 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of HA#003 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
