About this painting

A blue-and-white porcelain vase stands on a flat emerald green ground, holding a magnolia branch drawn only in thin black outline. The vase is the fully painted part: a full-bellied shape covered in cobalt paisley flowers, berries and trailing vines, finished with a narrow orange rim, the single warm note on the canvas.

Above it the magnolia stays transparent, one open bloom and several buds traced over the green. The vase sits low, cut off by the bottom edge, leaving the upper half to the branch, and the emerald is brushed with lighter cloudy patches rather than laid in one even coat.

MA#500 is an original minimalist still life painting showing blue-and-white porcelain vase with a line-drawn magnolia branch on a flat green ground, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

In a dining room or restaurant the vase reads almost as part of the table setting, and the tall format fits a slim pier of wall between windows or the space beside the door into the room. The emerald holds its own next to brass, white marble, rattan and pale oak, and it stands out on grey or warm white walls; on a green wall it would vanish. In a boutique, it sits naturally behind a display of ceramics or tableware.

Specified for restaurant & bar, gallery & retail, lobby & reception and dining room; it reads as uplifting and bold.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for MA#500 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on MA#500 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Why is the magnolia in MA#500 drawn only in outline?

Leaving the branch as black line keeps all the colour and detail in the vase. The green shows through every petal and leaf, so the flowers stay light and graphic while the porcelain below looks solid. That contrast between drawn and painted parts is what gives the still life its modern edge.

Which accents pick up the palette of MA#500 in a dining scheme?

The cobalt of the vase pattern, its white body and the small orange rim give three easy accents. Navy or blue-and-white tableware, white napery and one terracotta or burnt orange element repeat them, while the emerald ground does best when the walls around it stay neutral.

Is MA#500 a print or an original painting?

An original. MA#500 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of MA#500 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
