About this painting

A young birch, white-barked and hung with fresh lime-green leaves, grows up out of the bottom left corner of a deep green canvas and spreads its fine branches toward the centre. To its right stands a tall slab of white plaster, laid on in overlapping knife-cut blocks that stop short of the bottom edge, where a patch of green shows through.

Behind both, the green is pulled downward in streaks from emerald to near-black, scored with a few dark cross-shaped marks near the top. The contrast is the whole idea: delicate branchwork against a blunt block of raw white.

MA#974 is an original minimalist floral painting showing delicate spring birch sprig and a white plaster block on streaked green, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Green this saturated glows beside plain white walls, pale oak and cream linen, and it looks especially at home in a room with windows onto real trees. In a spa or guest corridor, place it at the point where the walk turns or stops, so the white slab meets people at eye level. Plaster adds weight, so use two fixings into a solid wall, and let daylight or a spot fall from one side to show the blocks.

Specified for spa & wellness, guest room & suite, bedroom and corridor & circulation; it reads as uplifting and peaceful.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for MA#974 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on MA#974 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What tree is painted on MA#974?

A young birch: the white bark ringed with dark marks and the slim, upright branches give it away. It is shown in early spring, with small new leaves still sparse enough to see the branch structure, so the painting speaks of fresh growth instead of full summer cover.

Could MA#974 be painted with a softer green?

Yes. The deep emerald ground can be mixed toward sage or eucalyptus for a quieter room, while the white birch bark and the white plaster slab stay as they are. The lime leaves would then be adjusted so they still stand clear of the paler ground.

Is MA#974 a print or an original painting?

An original. MA#974 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of MA#974 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
