About this painting

A clear mountain stream runs straight at the viewer, spilling over a small rocky step near the bottom of the canvas and splitting a meadow of white daisies and orange wildflowers in two. Behind it the valley opens into lime-green grass, a dark band of pines and snow peaks half hidden under towering white cloud.

Tall firs frame both edges like stage curtains, which keeps the gaze travelling up the water to the mountains. The clouds and flower heads carry the most paint, each daisy a single raised dab of white, while the sky between them is a soft, even blue.

IA#1005 is an original impressionist landscape painting showing snowy peaks and pines above a stream through white and orange wildflowers, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Because the stream starts at the bottom edge and runs away into the distance, the canvas works best where people walk toward it: the far wall of a hallway or entrance, centred on the line of the floor. It opens a windowless wall onto distance. Pale oak, white plaster and sage-green upholstery suit its colours, and a thin black frame sharpens the edge against a white wall.

Specified for guest room & suite, corridor & circulation, living room and entryway & hallway; it reads as peaceful and uplifting.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for IA#1005 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on IA#1005 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is the valley in IA#1005 modelled on the Alps or the Rockies?

Neither is named. The view combines features common to both and to most high ranges: a meltwater stream, grey boulders, firs and a high meadow in flower. That lets it hang in a mountain hotel anywhere without tying it to one range.

How do the white daisies in IA#1005 behave under different lighting?

They are the brightest marks in the lower half, so they catch light first. Under warm evening lamps they turn creamy and the meadow looks golden; in cool daylight they stay crisp white against the green, and side lighting makes the raised dabs cast small shadows.

Is IA#1005 a print or an original painting?

An original. IA#1005 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of IA#1005 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
