About this painting

A straight ochre path runs up the centre of a green garden towards a patch of pale light, with an arching dark branch of coral roses hanging over it. Two green kerbs converge on that bright opening, so the gaze travels up the path almost before it notices anything else.

Around it the greens are layered from olive to lime: a spiky fan palm on the right, dark fern fronds at lower left and a russet trunk at the far edge. The roses are round glowing dots of coral, and tiny pale flecks across the canopy read as sun breaking through leaves.

IA#1178 is an original impressionist floral painting showing sunlit garden path beneath an arch of pink roses and green foliage, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

The receding path gives a flat wall depth, so it helps a windowless room or a guest room without a view; set it where it is approached head-on, with the converging kerbs aimed straight at the visitor. Sage, olive and moss upholstery, terracotta pots, cane and warm oak all sit well with it. Being mostly mid-green and ochre, it needs good light: under dim lamps the canopy turns heavy, so add a picture light or hang it near daylight.

Specified for corridor & circulation, entryway & hallway, guest room & suite and bedroom; it reads as peaceful and uplifting.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for IA#1178 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on IA#1178 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Are the coral shapes in IA#1178 roses or fruit?

They are roses on a single arching branch, painted as rounded coral blooms rather than detailed petals, which is why from a distance they can look like small fruits or lanterns. Up close, a couple of the blooms in the top cluster show swirled petal strokes.

Why does the far end of the path in IA#1178 glow?

Where the trees part, the far stretch is laid in pale cream and soft white, and everything around it is darker green. That contrast makes the end of the path read as sunlight, and it gives the garden its pull: the brightest point is also the furthest away.

Is IA#1178 a print or an original painting?

An original. IA#1178 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of IA#1178 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
