About this painting

Two snow-capped peaks catch warm gold light at the head of a steep green valley, and a silver river zigzags all the way from their feet to the bottom edge of the canvas. The river is the whole structure: a thread in the distance, it widens into a pale, rippled stream in the foreground and pulls the eye up the length of the tall format.

The slopes are lime and grass green, ruled with lines of dark firs. A lone spruce and grey boulders sit on the near banks, and the sky above is a clear, soft blue with a few white clouds.

IA#884 is an original impressionist landscape painting showing winding river through a green alpine valley below snowy peaks, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Because the river climbs from the bottom edge to the peaks, a long corridor is its natural home: hung on the end wall, the painted river reads as a continuation of the floor underfoot. In a guest room it belongs on the wall the bed faces, so the twin summits are the first thing seen each morning. Fresh greens like these sit well with white oak, sage paint and cool daylight, which keeps the snow crisp.

Specified for guest room & suite, corridor & circulation, living room and bedroom; it reads as peaceful and uplifting.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for IA#884 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on IA#884 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Which part of IA#884 has the most texture?

The snowfields on the two peaks and the grass along the near riverbanks carry the heaviest paint, built up in short thick strokes. The sky and far slopes are smoother, so under side light the texture gathers in the upper and lower thirds while the middle distance stays soft.

What hangs well beside IA#884 on a shared wall?

Something quieter. Its strong green and single leading line work best alone or next to a pale abstract in sage and white, or a small black-and-white photograph. Two busy alpine scenes side by side compete, because each has its own horizon and its own route for the eye.

Is IA#884 a print or an original painting?

An original. IA#884 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of IA#884 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
