About this painting

Ultramarine water pushes deep into a cove ringed by white limestone cliffs, with a green headland above and two small sailboats in the inlet. The view is framed like a lookout: a flowering slope at lower left, a knife-worked tree leaning in from the right, a round yellow-green bush at bottom centre.

Between them the eye travels out to open sea and violet-grey mountains. Rocks and foliage carry the heaviest knife marks, the grey boulders built in broad flat planes, while the water darkens from turquoise near the boats to almost navy under the cliffs.

IA#033 is an original impressionist seascape painting showing Mediterranean cove with white cliffs, green mountains, sailboats and flowering shrubs, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 24×20 in (61×51 cm) to 80×60 in (203×153 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Strong cobalt and white read clearly across a hotel lobby or down a long dining room, and the cove suits white plaster, pale stone floors, rattan and linen upholstery, the coastal-villa setting it comes from. Because the composition opens through a gap in the foreground, it behaves like a window: hang it on a solid wall without a real view, centred over a console or banquette. Bright daylight keeps the blues crisp; side light shows the knife ridges in the rocks.

Specified for lobby & reception, guest room & suite, living room and dining room; it reads as uplifting and peaceful.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for IA#033 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 24×20 in to 80×60 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on IA#033 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Does IA#033 show a particular stretch of coast?

It is not painted as a named site. The white limestone walls, pine-like trees and narrow deep-blue inlet are typical of rocky Mediterranean coves, so viewers place it in the south of France, the Balearics or the Adriatic depending on where they have travelled.

Which parts of IA#033 are knife-painted and which are smooth?

The rocks, the tree at the right and the foreground shrubs are worked with the knife in thick, flat planes and ridges. The sea and sky are smoother and more blended, which keeps the water calm and lets the textured edges frame it.

Is IA#033 a print or an original painting?

An original. IA#033 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of IA#033 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
