About this painting

A pale sandy path runs up through summer grass and red poppies to a turquoise bay, where white cliffs close the view at the left.

The banks either side are not painted blade by blade but in short crossing strokes of straw, sage and rust, with poppies flicked in as single red dots; the right-hand bank glows almost orange. Where the path meets the beach a tiny seated figure looks out over the water, and one small boat sits in the bay. Above, round clouds are dabbed in white with a little circular twist of the brush.

IA#093 is an original impressionist landscape painting showing sandy path through wheat and poppies down to a turquoise bay with cliffs, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 24×20 in (61×51 cm) to 80×60 in (203×153 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Because the path starts at the bottom edge, the picture opens the wall like a doorway, so centre it over a dining table or a long sideboard where people look at it from a seated height. Sea-blue chairs, sand-coloured fabrics, whitewashed wood and rush matting repeat its colours. In a restaurant it belongs on a bright, daytime wall near the terrace rather than in a dark evening room, since its blues need daylight to sing.

Specified for restaurant & bar, dining room, living room and guest room & suite; it reads as peaceful and uplifting.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for IA#093 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 24×20 in to 80×60 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on IA#093 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Which coast does IA#093 show?

It follows a well-known kind of view on the Channel coast of northern France, where wheat fields run to the cliff edge and paths drop to small beaches between chalk cliffs. No town is named or detailed, so it reads as a summer coast in general rather than a particular resort.

What does the tiny figure at the end of the path add to IA#093?

A destination. Without the seated figure the path would simply run into the bay; with it, the eye follows the sand to someone looking out to sea, which turns a field view into a quiet moment. The figure is small and dark, so it never competes with the poppies.

Is IA#093 a print or an original painting?

An original. IA#093 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of IA#093 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
