About this painting

Two rose-pink birds with long trailing tails perch among golden ginkgo leaves on a deep teal ground, one stretched along a branch near the top and the other sitting upright at the centre with its tail hanging straight down. The fan-shaped leaves fill the upper two-thirds in loose clusters and then start to fall, drifting singly through the darker blue below.

That lower third is almost empty, mottled teal shading into ink-blue, so the dropping leaves lead your gaze down from the busy canopy. Branches are fine brown lines; the birds, with black-and-white wings, are painted smoothly with crisp edges against the cloudier ground.

HA#043 is an original hyperrealist animal painting showing two pink long-tailed birds on ginkgo branches with golden leaves against a teal-blue ground, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 11 standard sizes run from 18×36 in (46×91 cm) to 50×100 in (127×254 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Teal and ginkgo gold are strong together, so set the canvas on a quiet ground: warm white, oatmeal or soft grey plaster, with walnut, cane or brushed brass nearby. In a guest room it fits the slim wall beside the bed where a reading lamp stands; in a living room, the end of a long bookshelf run. Keep the light warm, because cool LEDs turn the teal plain blue and the leaves lose their glow.

Specified for corridor & circulation, entryway & hallway, guest room & suite and living room; it reads as uplifting and peaceful.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for HA#043 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 18×36 in to 50×100 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on HA#043 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What kind of birds are in HA#043?

Decorative long-tailed birds rather than an exact species: pink plumage, black-and-white wings and very long tail feathers, loosely modelled on the long-tailed birds common in East Asian bird-and-flower painting. They are painted to be graceful against the leaves, not to satisfy a birdwatcher.

Why do the ginkgo leaves in HA#043 thin out toward the bottom?

They are falling. Dense clusters on the branches give way to single leaves drifting through the lower third, which turns the empty teal into autumn air and gives the tall panel a downward movement. Ginkgo turns exactly this butter-yellow in autumn, so the season is part of the picture.

Is HA#043 a print or an original painting?

An original. HA#043 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of HA#043 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
