About this painting

Three ranks of surf roll in toward a reef of dark, wet rock, and the middle wave is the one to watch: its curl turns glassy turquoise where light from a bright gap in the clouds shines through it. Blue headlands fade into haze on the left, and the sky above is laid in soft, blended bands of grey and pale blue.

The detail gathers low on the canvas. Foam is picked out in fine, broken white strokes, spray lifts off the brown rocks at the lower right, and lacy patterns float on the green shallows. The surface stays smooth; the realism comes from thin layers, not texture.

HA#020 is an original hyperrealist seascape painting showing turquoise waves breaking on rocks with mountains and cloudy sky, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 24×20 in (61×51 cm) to 80×60 in (203×153 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Cool turquoise and grey belong with pale stone, white tile or grey terrazzo, so the canvas holds a long vanity wall in a hotel bathroom or the wall beside a freestanding bath in a spa suite. The blues stay clean under neutral 3000–4000K light; very warm lamps push the water toward green and dull the white foam. In a guest room, choose a width close to the headboard's so the seascape and the bed read as one block.

Specified for spa & wellness, guest room & suite, living room and bathroom; it reads as calming and peaceful.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for HA#020 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 24×20 in to 80×60 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on HA#020 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Why does the middle wave in HA#020 glow green?

That band is the thin lip of the wave with light passing through it, painted in emerald and turquoise against the darker blue around it. It is the brightest colour on the canvas, so it stays readable from across a room even when the finer foam detail is lost at a distance.

Which way does the light fall in HA#020?

From the right. A bright break in the cloud sits just above the horizon on that side, so the water, the foam crests and the spray on the rocks are all lit from there. Hanging it with the room's main window also to its right keeps the painted and real light consistent.

Is HA#020 a print or an original painting?

An original. HA#020 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of HA#020 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
