About this painting

A blue peacock stands high on the canvas with its head turned to the right, while its tail falls the full height of the picture in a cascade of teal and turquoise eye feathers, each eye ringed in yellow.

The bird is painted with fine, smooth feather detail: a royal-blue neck and crest, a green and gold back, rust-red wing feathers just showing. A white rose and a lilac-blue rose open beside it, a magnolia branch reaches in from the upper left, and two small olive butterflies hover over a cream ground that cools to grey-lilac at the bottom.

HA#054 is an original hyperrealist animal painting showing blue peacock with trailing tail beside white roses, a magnolia branch and butterflies on a cream ground, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 11 standard sizes run from 18×36 in (46×91 cm) to 50×100 in (127×254 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

At a 1:2 ratio the canvas fills a narrow wall where a broader piece would crowd: a slim pier between two windows, the blind end of a bedroom corridor, or beside a wardrobe. The cream background melts into ivory and warm-white walls, leaving the blue bird to stand out; on a teal wall the effect turns tonal. Brushed brass hardware picks up the yellow rims of the tail eyes.

Specified for corridor & circulation, guest room & suite, entryway & hallway and bedroom; it reads as romantic and peaceful.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for HA#054 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 18×36 in to 50×100 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on HA#054 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is the peacock in HA#054 a symbol of anything?

Peacocks are often read as beauty, dignity and good fortune, and in early Christian art the bird stood for immortality. Set among roses and magnolia, as here, it reads mainly as a decorative wish for a graceful, flourishing home rather than a religious image.

Could HA#054 be painted with an emerald rather than blue peacock?

Yes. The royal-blue neck and teal tail can shift to emerald green, closer to a green peafowl, while the cream ground and the white and lilac roses stay as they are. Send a fabric or paint swatch, and say whether the yellow eye rims should stay bright or be toned down.

Is HA#054 a print or an original painting?

An original. HA#054 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of HA#054 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
