About this painting

A white peacock and a blue-green peacock share one branch near the top of a tall panel, and their tails pour down the canvas side by side: lacy white plumes on the left, a long green train studded with orange-ringed eyes on the right. Pink cherry blossom crowds the upper corners and lower left, against a sky shading from violet and deep blue at the edges to a peachy glow down the middle.

Each feather is drawn with fine separate strokes, so the white tail reads like lace and the green one like layered silk. The blue bird's cobalt neck and orange-gold wing carry the strongest colour.

HA#041 is an original hyperrealist animal painting showing white peacock and blue-green peacock on a branch among pink cherry blossoms against a blue sky, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 11 standard sizes run from 18×36 in (46×91 cm) to 50×100 in (127×254 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Its one-by-two proportion suits a column face in a lobby, the narrow wall beside a lift or an entrance hall where the falling tails echo the height of the door. Blues and pinks sit well on ivory, pale grey or deep navy walls, near lacquer, brass or dark rosewood. Hang the larger sizes low enough that the two heads, close to the top edge, can be seen without craning.

Specified for lobby & reception, corridor & circulation, entryway & hallway and living room; it reads as romantic and uplifting.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for HA#041 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 18×36 in to 50×100 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on HA#041 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Will the white peacock in HA#041 disappear on a white wall?

No. Its plumes are set against deep blue and violet sky, so they read as pale lace on a dark ground whatever colour the wall is. A brilliant white wall simply repeats the bird's tone around the outside; ivory or navy frames it more strongly.

Which tail in HA#041 belongs to which bird?

The white plumes fanning down the left side belong to the white peacock perched at upper right. The long green train with orange-ringed eyes, running all the way to the bottom edge, belongs to the blue-necked bird just below it. Between them the two tails fill the full height of the panel.

Is HA#041 a print or an original painting?

An original. HA#041 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of HA#041 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
