About this painting

A blue peacock and a russet peahen stand at the centre of a flowering garden valley, the cock's gold tail hanging straight down over a green mound like a train.

Behind them the garden recedes in layers: a pink path winding past pink and white peonies, a blossoming shrub at the left, autumn-orange trees, then dark cypresses and a small waterfall fading into a misty lilac sky. The foreground is a dense fringe of ferns and small pink flowers. Everything is painted in fine, blended brushwork with soft edges, and the green-and-blue eye spots on the tail are the sharpest detail on the canvas.

HA#032 is an original hyperrealist animal painting showing blue peacock and brown peahen on a branch in a flowering garden landscape, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Dense with detail from edge to edge, it needs space around it and some distance in front: a stair landing, the wall facing a lobby entrance, or centred over a low credenza in a traditional living room. It belongs with classical or Asian-inspired interiors, carved or slatted timber, warm beige and moss-green upholstery, and a gold or champagne frame matches the tail. Keep busy wallpaper and other figurative pictures away from it, as they compete with the garden.

Specified for lobby & reception, corridor & circulation, gallery & retail and living room; it reads as uplifting and bold.

Colour palette

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for HA#032 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on HA#032 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is the garden in HA#032 a real place?

No particular garden is shown. It is an imagined landscape in the tradition of romantic decorative painting, combining a winding path, peonies, cypresses and a distant waterfall into one idealised view, with the two birds placed at its centre.

How do the colours in HA#032 sit in a modern neutral room?

They bring in almost a whole palette at once: cobalt, gold, moss green, rose pink and autumn orange. In a pale, minimal room the painting becomes the main source of colour, so keep accessories to one or two of its greens or golds rather than adding new hues.

Is HA#032 a print or an original painting?

An original. HA#032 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of HA#032 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
