About this painting

A terraced garden spills down a hillside above the Bay of Naples, with pale villas, a round tower and two dark cypresses on the left and Vesuvius rising across the water.

The foreground is a dense bank of flowers, scarlet, white, yellow, violet and pink among spiky agave leaves, laid on thickly with a knife so the colour stands proud of the canvas. Further back the paint thins: the town strings along the curving shore in small strokes, a single sail marks the blue bay, and the volcano's twin summits fade into a hazy lilac sky. That shift from heavy texture to thin haze is what creates the depth.

HA#397 is an original hyperrealist landscape painting showing terraced hillside garden overlooking a bay with a volcano beyond, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

The tall format and the view out over the bay make it behave like a window, which helps on a wall without one: an inner meeting room, a hotel corridor alcove or a reception wall with no outlook. Its greens and blues sit easily with travertine, cream plaster and pale oak, and the flower bank offers red and violet accents for cushions or a rug. Light from one side brings up the knife ridges in the flowers.

Specified for meeting & boardroom, lobby & reception, living room and home office; it reads as peaceful and uplifting.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for HA#397 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on HA#397 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Which places can be recognised in HA#397?

The volcano is Vesuvius, seen with the neighbouring ridge of Monte Somma, and the curving shoreline below is the Bay of Naples, viewed from a garden terrace in the hills above the city. The villas and tower in the foreground are not presented as a named estate; they simply set the viewpoint.

How does the flower bank on HA#397 catch side light?

Strongly, because it holds the heaviest paint on the canvas: knife-laid ridges form raised petals and leaf blades across the bottom third. The path, villas and tower are medium-bodied, and the town, sea and sky are thin and smooth, so a low angled light throws tiny shadows at the base while the top stays flat.

Is HA#397 a print or an original painting?

An original. HA#397 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of HA#397 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
