About this painting

Looking straight down onto a lily pond, the canvas is all water: yellow-green pads crowd the left edge and a scatter of small pink blooms floats across the top third. Through the middle and down the right runs a band of lilac, the reflected sky, broken by trailing green streaks that read as willow or reeds mirrored in the surface.

There is no horizon and no bank to stand on, which gives the picture its floating feel. The pads are dabbed on in short, heavy strokes, each with a lighter lime rim, so the whole surface has a gentle raised grain.

IA#1172 is an original impressionist floral painting showing Monet-style pond with green lily pads, pink blooms and lilac reflections, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

With no horizon to set a level, it hangs comfortably in tall, narrow spaces and at varied heights: the wall a massage couch faces, beside a bedroom window, or in a corridor alcove passed close up. Pale oak, cane and soft white plaster suit it; strong primary colours nearby make the lilac look grey. Diffuse daylight shows the dabbed texture best.

Specified for spa & wellness, guest room & suite, corridor & circulation and bedroom; it reads as peaceful and uplifting.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for IA#1172 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on IA#1172 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

How does IA#1172 relate to Monet's water lily paintings?

It borrows the same idea: a pond seen close and from above, with sky and trees present only as reflections. The arrangement here is its own, with pads massed down the left, pink blooms kept to the top and a lilac reflection band running down the right.

What in a room picks up the lilac water of IA#1172?

Lavender, heather or dusty mauve textiles echo the reflection band, and a lime or olive accent picks up the pads. For a calmer result, keep the room to whites and pale wood and let the canvas carry both colours on its own.

Is IA#1172 a print or an original painting?

An original. IA#1172 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of IA#1172 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
