About this painting

The Brooklyn Bridge cuts in from the left edge, its stone tower and fan of cables painted in dark slate, and leads across to a Manhattan skyline of teal, orange and cream towers under a pale sky. A pair of slim white towers with needle spires stands at the centre, flanked by sharp teal blocks and loose flares of orange.

Below the deck the city melts: the pier, the buildings and a line of cars with yellow headlights are all pulled straight down into the river as dragged vertical strokes. The paint stays flat and brushed, and the upper sky is left almost bare, so the dark bridge feels heavier.

IA#825 is an original impressionist cityscape painting showing Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan skyline in teal, blue and orange with water reflections, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Teal set against orange is a near-complementary pairing, so the canvas keeps its punch on a plain white or pale concrete lobby wall facing the entrance, where visitors meet it on arrival. Black steel, smoked glass and walnut suit it, and one rust or teal chair nearby is enough to tie it to the room. Light it with a neutral, even wash: a yellowish lamp turns the cream sky beige and mutes the orange.

Specified for workspace & office, corridor & circulation, home office and lobby & reception; it reads as uplifting and bold.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for IA#825 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on IA#825 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is the bridge in IA#825 the Brooklyn Bridge?

Yes. The pointed Gothic arch in its stone tower and the diagonal web of cables are the bridge's unmistakable features, seen here at a low angle from the riverside. The towers behind are lower Manhattan, simplified into blocks of colour rather than drawn floor by floor.

Which way does the bridge run in IA#825, and how should that guide placement?

It enters from the left foreground and recedes toward the right, so the picture carries movement from left to right and into depth. On a corridor wall it works best where people walk in that same direction, or on an end wall where the span seems to lead further on.

Is IA#825 a print or an original painting?

An original. IA#825 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of IA#825 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
