About this painting

A small red-orange sun hangs in a peach and pink sky above a misty port, and its reflection falls onto the water as a ladder of gold and orange strokes. Rowing boats, flat dark silhouettes with one or two figures aboard, drift across the left half, with a smaller blue one near the left edge.

Behind them, masts, a leaning crane and a long hull dissolve into cobalt haze, and the tall feathery masts at the left look almost like pines. The paint is thin and quick, laid in loose sideways sweeps, so water and mist share one soft surface.

IA#1159 is an original impressionist seascape painting showing misty harbour at sunrise with rowing boats, masts and cranes and an orange sun reflection, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 11 standard sizes run from 36×18 in (91×46 cm) to 100×50 in (254×127 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Long and low, it fits above a banquette, a fluted sideboard or a wide hotel bed, spanning most of the furniture's length. The sun and its reflection sit right of centre, so balance a sideboard with taller objects at its left end. Peach and cobalt sit well with walnut, cream bouclé and warm limestone, and soft indirect light flatters the misty, low-contrast surface more than a hard spotlight would.

Specified for lobby & reception, restaurant & bar, guest room & suite and dining room; it reads as peaceful and uplifting.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for IA#1159 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 36×18 in to 100×50 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on IA#1159 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Does IA#1159 have any raised texture?

No. The paint is applied thinly in loose brushstrokes with no built-up ridges, so the surface reads evenly from any angle and side lighting changes it very little. That flatness suits the subject: in morning mist the edges blur into one another instead of casting shadows.

What is the tall diagonal shape on the right of IA#1159?

A dockside crane, its arm angled up to the right among the masts of moored ships. With the long dark hull beneath it, it marks the scene as a working port rather than a holiday bay, softened by the dawn haze.

Is IA#1159 a print or an original painting?

An original. IA#1159 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of IA#1159 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
