About this painting

A single bird with a crimson breast, slate-blue head and long orange tail perches high on the left of a packed jungle, the only creature among dozens of leaves.

Everything else is foliage and flower set against a black ground: banana and monstera leaves, fan palms spreading up from the lower left, a hanging spray of red berries, a scarlet bromeliad bursting open near the bottom, orange blossoms at the centre and a pale lily low down. The leaves are painted smoothly with fine pale veins, much like a hand-painted tropical wallpaper, and the black between them pushes every red and orange forward.

HA#380 is an original hyperrealist animal painting showing tropical foliage wall with a red and blue bird, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

The black ground lets it hold its own on dark walls, so think of a cocktail bar painted ink blue or forest green, a club lounge lined in lacquered timber, or the wall behind a host stand. Keep it near eye height: the bird sits in the upper left corner, and on a tall wall hung too high it gets lost. Aged brass, cane, green velvet and red lacquer all find a partner somewhere in the foliage.

Specified for lobby & reception, restaurant & bar, corridor & circulation and living room; it reads as bold and dramatic.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for HA#380 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on HA#380 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is the bird in HA#380 a real species?

It is best read as an imagined tropical bird rather than a field-guide portrait. The red breast and blue head recall a lorikeet and the long orange tail a pheasant, combined for colour, so it belongs in a decorative scheme rather than a natural history display.

Will the black background of HA#380 make a room feel darker?

Less than you might expect, because the black only shows in the gaps between leaves and flowers. On a pale wall it reads as a dense dark panel and needs generous space around it; on a dark wall its edges dissolve and the jungle seems to grow straight out of the paint.

Is HA#380 a print or an original painting?

An original. HA#380 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of HA#380 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
