About this painting

An adult panda sits at the foot of a towering peony bush, its cub sprawled on the earth beside it, while blooms pile up overhead in red, rose pink, coral and white. The flowers are lit as if from one soft source in front, standing out against a dark olive-brown ground where tree trunks are only half visible.

That contrast recalls old European flower paintings, though the pairing of pandas and peonies belongs to East Asian decorative tradition. Two butterflies hover near the top, an apricot-yellow rose glows at the lower right, and smooth, blended brushwork softens the edges of the pandas' fur.

HA#026 is an original hyperrealist animal painting showing two pandas beneath a bush of pink, red and white peonies with butterflies, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

The tall format closes the view down an entrance corridor as guests arrive, with the pandas low enough for children to spot. In a restaurant it belongs in a private dining room, or opposite the entrance where arriving guests see it first. The dark ground absorbs light, so give it a ceiling spot or a wall washer; without one the lower third, where the pandas rest, can turn murky. Rosewood, red lacquer and blue-and-white porcelain all sit well with it.

Specified for restaurant & bar, gallery & retail, living room and bedroom; it reads as cozy & warm and romantic.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for HA#026 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on HA#026 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What do the peonies and pandas in HA#026 suggest?

Peonies are often read as wealth, honour and good fortune in Chinese tradition, which ranks the peony first among flowers, and the panda is a widely loved emblem of gentleness. With an adult and a cub together, the painting is easy to read as a wish for a prosperous, settled family.

Why is the background of HA#026 so dark?

The deep olive-brown ground works like a stage backdrop: it pushes the white and pink peonies and the black-and-white pandas forward so they read clearly across a room. It also keeps a very full flower arrangement from tipping into sweetness, giving the canvas a heavier, more classical weight.

Is HA#026 a print or an original painting?

An original. HA#026 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of HA#026 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
