About this painting

A drift of salmon-pink petals crowds the upper canvas and condenses, lower down, into a knot of crimson roses with tightly turned centres.

Below the roses the picture breaks apart into slabs of teal, ice blue, white and bottle green, laid with a loaded knife so the paint stands up in sharp-edged ridges. Olive and ochre leaves are scattered between the blooms, and a few flecks of yellow sit in the upper left. The roses are the only part painted with any precision; everything around them stays loose, so the eye settles on the red first and then wanders outward.

CA#1062 is an original colorful floral painting showing knife-painted pink and red roses massed against a blue and teal ground, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

With rose tones above and teal below, it can bridge two palettes in one room: hang it where rose or blush upholstery meets teal or blue-grey, such as above a pink velvet banquette set against grey panelling. In a dining room, line the teal base up with blue-green chairs. Framed in slim gold, the ochre leaves gain an echo, and the canvas sits comfortably on a moulded, pale grey wall.

Specified for lobby & reception, restaurant & bar, living room and entryway & hallway; it reads as bold and romantic.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for CA#1062 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on CA#1062 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Why does CA#1062 shift from pink petals into blue and white strokes?

The pink drift reads as blossom in full light, while the teal and white strokes below read as shadow, possibly a glass vase or water dissolved into paint, though nothing is drawn in. The shift from warm to cool gives the roses in the middle a strong edge to sit against.

What does the knife-work in CA#1062 look like under a picture light?

Every zone is built from flat-ended slabs, so overhead light catches hundreds of small edges across the canvas. The ridges are sharpest in the white and ice-blue strokes at the lower right, which flash brightest, while the crimson roses, worked in curling strokes, take on a sculpted look.

Is CA#1062 a print or an original painting?

An original. CA#1062 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of CA#1062 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
