About this painting

Two hydrangea heads hang one above the other, their florets red at the crown and fading to cream and soft pink where the two flowers meet, with olive leaves reaching out on either side. The blooms are brushed more solidly than anything around them, in small overlapping petals.

Elsewhere the paint is loose and watery: pale blue-lilac leaf shapes drift across the top left, red and violet specks are flicked over the white ground, and a patch of mint green settles in the bottom right corner. Most of the lower third is left almost white, so the flowers seem to float.

CA#812 is an original colorful floral painting showing red and cream hydrangea heads with green leaves and purple and pink drips, watercolour feel, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Its pale, airy ground makes it one of the gentler options for a narrow entrance wall or the end of a hallway, where something darker would make the passage feel tighter. In a bedroom it suits pale grey or warm white walls and light oak, and the violet runs pick up lavender or heather fabrics. With so much white on the canvas, it looks best in daylight or under warm lamps; a very cold light turns the ground chalky.

Specified for guest room & suite, spa & wellness, bedroom and entryway & hallway; it reads as romantic and uplifting.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for CA#812 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on CA#812 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Are the paint runs under the hydrangeas in CA#812 intentional?

Yes. The violet and pink runs come from very fluid paint allowed to flow down the canvas while it stands upright, then left as they fell. They give the flowers a watercolour softness and carry your gaze from the blooms down into the empty lower third.

Could the red hydrangeas in CA#812 be painted blue instead?

Yes. Both heads can be repainted in blue and lilac, the way many hydrangeas grow, with the red-to-cream fade becoming blue-to-white; the violet runs and mint corner then sit closer in tone. A colour sketch can be approved before painting starts.

Is CA#812 a print or an original painting?

An original. CA#812 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of CA#812 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
