About this painting

Three heavy blooms sweep in from the left: a pale pink peony with a yellow heart, a large crimson flower opening to flame orange at its core, and a second, half-open crimson bloom above them.

Petals are built up in thick, curled ridges of knife-laid paint, each rim edged in a lighter tint. Dark green leaves tuck beneath the flowers, a small rosebud hides near the top, and long pale green blades fan toward the upper right. The ground shifts from mottled blue-grey and lilac behind the pink peony to butter yellow and cream on the right, where the last third of the canvas is left open.

CA#1133 is an original colorful floral painting showing heavy knife-impasto bouquet of red and pale pink peony-like blooms with green leaves, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 11 standard sizes run from 36×18 in (91×46 cm) to 100×50 in (254×127 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Cool blue-grey at one end and warm cream at the other let it bridge a mixed scheme, grey upholstery on one side of a room and oak or brass on the other. Hung over an extended dining table or along a restaurant banquette, the crimson carries across the space. Pale grey or soft white walls let the ridged petals stand out, while a deep green wall would echo the leaves and make the reds richer.

Specified for lobby & reception, restaurant & bar, living room and dining room; it reads as vibrant and uplifting.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for CA#1133 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 36×18 in to 100×50 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on CA#1133 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What do the peonies in CA#1133 traditionally signify?

In East Asian tradition the peony is often called the king of flowers and taken as an emblem of wealth and honour; in Western use it is linked with romance and a happy marriage. Either reading suits dining rooms, restaurants and hotel spaces where guests gather.

How does a downlight change the look of CA#1133?

A ceiling downlight set a little in front of the wall throws a shadow under every curled petal edge, which deepens the crimson bloom and makes the pale peony look almost carved. Flat, frontal light weakens that effect, so the colour leads and the ridges recede.

Is CA#1133 a print or an original painting?

An original. CA#1133 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of CA#1133 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
