About this painting

Yellow black-eyed Susans crowd the lower left, red poppies gather on the right, and between them blue larkspur spikes and pink and white flowers fill the bottom two-thirds of the canvas. Above, a cream sky shading to pale blue is built in the same heavy knife ridges as the flowers, so even the empty part of the picture has relief.

Two poppies break loose and climb high, one at the top left and one near the centre, rising above the crowded foreground. Greens run from deep bottle to bright leaf through the base, and the dark centres of the yellow flowers give the brightest colour a crisp anchor.

CA#039 is an original colorful floral painting showing dense wildflower field of red poppies, yellow daisies and blue spikes, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 24×20 in (61×51 cm) to 80×60 in (203×153 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Hang it with its lower edge 20 to 25 cm above a long sofa, a guest-suite headboard or a restaurant banquette, so the flowers seem to grow up from the furniture line. Cream and white upholstery let the painting carry all the colour, and coral or red cushions repeat the poppies. At the larger sizes it can fill most of a sofa wall on its own, which suits open-plan living rooms where smaller pieces would look lost.

Specified for restaurant & bar, guest room & suite, dining room and living room; it reads as uplifting and cozy & warm.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for CA#039 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 24×20 in to 80×60 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on CA#039 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What are the blue spikes in CA#039?

They read as larkspur or delphinium: tall blue spires laid in short upward knife strokes. They do real work in the picture, cooling the yellow and red and giving the flower bank a vertical rhythm, so a cornflower or cobalt accent in the room links straight back to them.

How does the knife-built sky of CA#039 look in side light?

More alive than most painted skies. The cream and pale blue are laid in short ridged strokes, not smoothed, so morning or evening sun across the canvas picks out a pattern of small shadows above the flowers. Under flat overhead light it settles back into soft, plain sky.

Is CA#039 a print or an original painting?

An original. CA#039 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of CA#039 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
