About this painting

A single peony fills the whole canvas, its cream and blush petals curling outward from a small red heart set just above and left of centre. Around it the outer petals deepen to crimson and, at the lower right, to an almost black red, so the bloom seems to open out of shadow, while the upper left corner stays a soft salmon pink.

The paint is flat: broad, sweeping brush shapes with crisp edges and thin pale lines tracing each petal rim, closer to a graphic poster than a worked surface. Cropped on all four sides, it shows no stem, vase or background, only petal.

CA#969 is an original colorful floral painting showing large red and pink peony bloom close-up, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Crimson at this scale carries down a long corridor, so it suits the far end of a hotel guest floor or the wall facing a suite door, seen the moment someone walks in. In a bar it sits well on a dark green or black wall that deepens the red. Over a bed, choose a width about two thirds of the headboard and keep the bedding plain, so the petals remain the only pattern.

Specified for guest room & suite, restaurant & bar, bedroom and entryway & hallway; it reads as romantic and dramatic.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for CA#969 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on CA#969 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Why is the peony in CA#969 cropped so tightly?

Filling the frame turns a familiar flower into something close to abstract: across a room you first see sweeping cream shapes against red, and only then a peony. With no vase, table line or horizon to align, it also sits comfortably above furniture of any height.

Why does CA#969 look sculpted when the surface is flat?

The depth comes from shading and the pale rim lines on each petal, not from built-up paint. Because the surface is smooth brushwork, it shows no shadows in raking light and looks the same from every angle, which helps in narrow corridors viewed side-on.

Is CA#969 a print or an original painting?

An original. CA#969 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of CA#969 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
