About this painting

Red poppies, a white peony and tall spikes of blue delphinium crowd out of one clear glass vase, packed so tightly with orange roses, yellow blooms and pink peonies that the bouquet nearly fills the canvas edge to edge. The white peony just above centre is the brightest note.

Each petal is a ridge of knife-laid paint, standing off a smoother background that shifts from deep umber on the left to cool grey-green on the right, as if lit from one side. Rose hips and red berries trail from the vase toward the lower left, and loose petals lie on the pale table.

CA#871 is an original colorful floral painting showing dense mixed bouquet of poppies, peonies and delphinium in a glass vase, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

A bouquet this dense holds its own on a long dining-room wall or the wall facing a restaurant's entrance, where guests see it whole before they sit. Keep the vase roughly at seated eye level so the arrangement looks as if it stood on a sideboard. Red, blue and orange each give the room licence: choose one for chairs or banquettes and leave the others to the painting. Warm lamplight deepens the poppies; daylight cools the delphinium.

Specified for gallery & retail, restaurant & bar, dining room and living room; it reads as dramatic and romantic.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for CA#871 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on CA#871 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Why is one side of the background in CA#871 dark and the other pale?

It imitates side lighting, a habit of older flower painting: the right half is a cool grey-green where the light seems to enter, and the left falls into umber shadow. Hang it with the room's main light source on the same side and the bouquet looks naturally lit.

Which parts of CA#871 carry the heaviest knife texture?

The white peony at the centre and the pink peonies above it, whose petals are laid in separate curved strokes that catch side light. The delphinium is dabbed in small blue touches and the background is brushed thinner, so the flowers sit visibly forward of it.

Is CA#871 a print or an original painting?

An original. CA#871 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of CA#871 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
