Studio photograph of the actual canvas. Yours is repainted to your dimensions, so brushwork will differ slightly — that is what an original is.

About this painting

A handful of heavily loaded strokes build the entire picture: a slab of burnt orange across the top half, a crimson edge down its right side, and a broad white sweep falling diagonally to the foot of the canvas.

Lower right, a curved band of chrome yellow picks up flecks of pink, and a ridged wedge of near-black anchors the base. Thick knife-pressed ridges rise off the canvas everywhere, and where the white crosses the orange it drags a streak of brown with it, as if one stroke pulled the next along. Almost nothing is blended; each colour keeps its own edge.

CA#735 is an original colorful geometric painting showing bold red, orange, yellow and white palette-knife strokes, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Hang it where a cool, quiet backdrop lets the orange do the work: pale grey slatted panelling, white plaster or light oak. Behind a reception counter it gives a neutral lobby a warm signal colour, and in a boutique it sits well with tan leather, brass and terracotta displays. Because the yellow and black sit low, do not let a sofa back hide the lower edge. With a ceiling spot near the wall, each ridge casts its own small shadow.

Specified for lobby & reception, gallery & retail, workspace & office and living room; it reads as bold and dramatic.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for CA#735 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on CA#735 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is CA#735 meant to depict anything?

No subject is intended. The canvas is built from colour and direction alone: the orange mass sits heavy at the top, the white diagonal carries the gaze downward, and the black wedge stops it at the base. Any figure a viewer reads into the shapes is their own.

How do the knife ridges on CA#735 look under side lighting?

Light from one side catches the raised edges of the orange slab and the white sweep, so each stroke shows a bright crest and a thin line of shadow. Under flat, even light the canvas reads more as pure blocks of colour; a grazing source brings the sculpted surface back.

Is CA#735 a print or an original painting?

An original. CA#735 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of CA#735 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
