About this painting

Square slabs of orange, ochre and violet stack across the canvas like torn paper, and over them runs a web of thin white and cream lines, dripped, flicked and scratched in every direction.

Warm colour fills the upper two-thirds, tangerine and burnt orange beside dusty pink and olive, while the bottom edge cools into teal, slate blue and green. A violet strip runs down the left side and a few navy blocks near the top right give the eye somewhere dark to rest. The paint is thick and knifed on, so each block has a raised edge, with the white linework lying on top as the final layer.

CA#334 is an original colorful abstract painting showing orange, purple and teal palette-knife blocks with white drips, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Warm and cool are balanced closely enough that the canvas holds a wall in rooms furnished in grey, black or walnut, where a single-colour piece might look thin. Try it facing the lifts in a lobby, at the end of an open office, or above a long sideboard with leather and brass. Its height suits a tall wall between two doors, and the busy surface keeps working at close range, which helps in a waiting area where people sit beside it for some time.

Specified for workspace & office, lobby & reception, home office and living room; it reads as bold and dramatic.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for CA#334 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on CA#334 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What sits well beside CA#334 in the same room?

Things that borrow one or two of its colours without its busyness: a plain violet or rust textile, a solid teal chair, or a quiet single-colour canvas on the facing wall. Repeating the orange in leather or terracotta ties the room to the painting without competing with it.

What do the white lines in CA#334 look like up close?

From across a room they read as a light scribble holding the blocks together. Close up there are three kinds of mark: drips that run downward, splatter lines flicked across at angles, and fine scratches cut into the paint that expose the colour underneath.

Is CA#334 a print or an original painting?

An original. CA#334 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of CA#334 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
