About this painting

A ridge of snow-capped peaks runs the full width of the panorama under a storm sky, flanked by two autumn trees blazing orange at either end.

The slopes beneath the snow are cut in violet, plum and blue-grey, with streaks of rust where the ridges fold, and they drop into low, swelling foothills of ochre and burnt orange. Everything is laid on with a knife in thick, angled strokes; the paint is heaviest in the white cloud breaking open at the upper right and in the tree canopies. The left of the sky stays dark slate, so the light seems to arrive from the right.

IA#804 is an original impressionist landscape painting showing snow-capped mountain range with orange autumn trees under a stormy sky, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 11 standard sizes run from 36×18 in (91×46 cm) to 100×50 in (254×127 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Strong orange and violet need a calm setting: walnut panelling, cognac leather, grey stone or greige walls let the colour carry without competing. In a boardroom, the long side wall works better than the end wall behind a screen. Hang it so the snow line sits a little above standing eye height, and use ceiling downlights set slightly forward of the wall, which throw shadow from the knife ridges and keep the white peaks bright.

Specified for lobby & reception, meeting & boardroom, living room and dining room; it reads as dramatic and bold.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for IA#804 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 36×18 in to 100×50 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on IA#804 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Do the peaks in IA#804 show a particular mountain range?

No single range is named. The jagged white summits and autumn colour could suggest the Alps, the Rockies or a Himalayan valley, so it reads as a general alpine scene. A specific range can be painted from your own photograph or reference as a commission.

Why are the two orange trees placed at opposite ends of IA#804?

They act as bookends. The eye starts on warm orange at one side, crosses the cooler violet mountains in the middle and lands on orange again at the other. On a long wall this keeps both ends of the canvas lively instead of letting the edges fade out.

Is IA#804 a print or an original painting?

An original. IA#804 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of IA#804 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
