About this painting

One enormous bloom fills the whole width of the canvas, its petals running from violet and magenta on the left, through cream and gold at the top, to orange and scarlet on the right.

The centre sits just left of middle: a knot of small gold and cobalt dabs, beaded like seeds, from which the petals fan out to every edge. Each petal is a knife-laid stroke with a raised rim, and turquoise and sky blue fill the gaps at upper right, so the colour turns round the flower like a wheel. Below the centre the ground sinks to navy, making the pale upper petals glow.

CA#069 is an original colorful floral painting showing single giant dahlia-like bloom with petals grading through purple, red, orange, yellow, blue and white, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 11 standard sizes run from 36×18 in (91×46 cm) to 100×50 in (254×127 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Every hue of the colour wheel is already in the bloom, so keep the wall neutral: warm greige, taupe or slate grey hold it without competing. Take one accent colour from the petals, burnt orange or teal, rather than several. For a restaurant, choose the long wall of a private dining room or the space behind a banquette; at 100 x 50 in it can anchor a reception desk. With petals running off every edge, a slim floating frame works better than a deep moulding.

Specified for lobby & reception, restaurant & bar, dining room and living room; it reads as bold and vibrant.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for CA#069 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 36×18 in to 100×50 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on CA#069 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is the flower in CA#069 a dahlia or a lotus?

It is a stylised bloom rather than a botanical portrait. The many layered, pointed petals and the beaded centre are closest to a dahlia, which is how it is usually described, but the broad cream petals at the top also recall a lotus. The colours are invented, not taken from nature.

How do the petal ridges of CA#069 look under a ceiling spotlight?

Every petal ends in a ridge of paint left as the knife came off, so a spotlight angled down from above draws a thin shadow line along each lower rim. The effect is strongest on the cream and orange petals; under flat, diffuse light the ridges fade and only the colour remains.

Is CA#069 a print or an original painting?

An original. CA#069 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of CA#069 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
