About this painting

Plum, scarlet and orange blooms burst from the top of a column of ultramarine paint that runs straight down a white canvas, so the bouquet seems to rise out of its own dripping vase.

The flowers crowd the top: a purple tulip at upper left, a glowing orange bloom in the middle, a ruffled crimson flower and an orange-red poppy below, and pink and peach blossoms at the right. Under them, navy and cobalt strokes are dragged down to the bottom edge, shot with streaks of red. Horizontal knife smears of violet and grey cross the white ground on both sides, leaving the lower half scraped and restless.

CA#079 is an original colorful floral painting showing vivid bouquet of purple, red, orange and yellow blooms with dripping blue and red paint below, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

On a charcoal or ink-black wall the white ground turns into a lit panel and the flowers jump forward; on a white wall, give it a black floater frame so the edge does not dissolve. At 60 x 80 in it holds the narrow wall between two lobby windows, or the first wall a restaurant guest faces on arrival. Pick up the ultramarine in one velvet chair and the scarlet in a single lacquered object, and leave the rest of the room quiet.

Specified for lobby & reception, restaurant & bar, gallery & retail and entryway & hallway; it reads as bold and dramatic.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for CA#079 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on CA#079 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What is the blue shape under the flowers in CA#079?

It reads as a vase, but one painted so loosely that it becomes a column of dragged ultramarine and navy strokes with red running through it. Nothing defines its outline, which is why the bouquet looks as if it is growing out of the paint rather than standing in a container.

How does the white ground of CA#079 behave in a dim restaurant?

It helps. In low light the white areas at the bottom and sides reflect what light there is, so the canvas stays readable, and the dark blue centre and red blooms keep their contrast. Aim a narrow spot at the flowers rather than washing the whole wall.

Is CA#079 a print or an original painting?

An original. CA#079 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of CA#079 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
