About this painting

A bald eagle turns its head to the left in sharp profile, yellow beak hooked and pale gold eye fixed on something beyond the edge of the canvas. Its white head is built from long, pointed strokes that read as individual feathers, and they break off abruptly into a breast of deep teal-navy plumage laid as overlapping leaf shapes.

Above the crown sits a cluster of three red roses with blue feather sprigs, fern fronds and fine seed heads in gold and white. Everything stands on a flat maroon ground with no horizon, so the bird reads almost like a crest.

CA#199 is an original colorful animal painting showing bald eagle head with red roses and botanical sprigs on maroon, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

With a dark maroon ground and a bright white head, the canvas needs a light wall to stand off: chalk white, warm limestone or pale oak panelling. It holds its own above a walnut desk in a study, or facing the door of a steakhouse where the roses can echo oxblood leather banquettes. Because the eagle looks left, hang it toward the right-hand end of a wall so its gaze points into the room rather than into a corner.

Specified for gallery & retail, restaurant & bar, entryway & hallway and home office; it reads as bold and dramatic.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for CA#199 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on CA#199 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What are the gold sprays above the eagle's head in CA#199?

They are seed-head sprays, like dandelion clocks, drawn in thin gold and white lines with dotted tips. They sit behind the roses and fern fronds and give the crown a light, almost firework-like edge against the maroon, which keeps the top of the canvas from feeling heavy.

How does the teal breast of CA#199 sit next to navy furnishings?

The breast feathers are a deep teal-navy with lighter blue-green highlights, so they sit comfortably beside navy velvet, petrol-blue paint or dark denim upholstery. Against true black the teal shows more clearly; against royal blue it can look slightly green, so test fabric swatches in the room's own light.

Is CA#199 a print or an original painting?

An original. CA#199 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of CA#199 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
