About this painting

Hot red, crimson and orange blooms burst from a barely drawn vase against a cool ground of blue and white, streaked downward in long vertical knife strokes. The flowers are suggested rather than described: thick smears for poppies, a few pink peony shapes, one white daisy, yellow star centres, and red spatters flicked toward the top right corner. The vase is only a thin column of blue-grey and green above a tabletop that dissolves into lilac and pink.

Every warm colour sits in the bouquet and every cool one in the background, so the bouquet appears to hover forward of the streaked ground.

CA#874 is an original colorful floral painting showing red, orange, pink and yellow flowers in a vase on a blue and white ground, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Against a charcoal or ink-blue wall the pale ground glows like a lit window and the bouquet comes forward; on white, the blue streaks give the canvas a cool outline. At a host stand or in an entry hall it greets arriving guests with colour at eye level without needing a large size. Brass, light oak and blush velvet suit it; keep nearby accessories to one hot tone, taken from the crimson or the orange.

Specified for lobby & reception, restaurant & bar, entryway & hallway and living room; it reads as bold and uplifting.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for CA#874 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on CA#874 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

How loose is the bouquet in CA#874?

Very loose. Only a handful of blooms have a readable shape, mostly the pink peonies and a white daisy; the rest are knife smears of crimson, orange and yellow that read as flowers from a few steps back and as abstract marks up close. The vase is little more than a blue-grey column.

Does CA#874 suit a cool blue room or a warm one?

Both, which is unusual for a floral. The blue and white ground ties it into grey, navy or white schemes, while the red-orange bouquet connects to terracotta, rust or warm timber. In a cool room it becomes the warm accent; in a warm room the background cools it down.

Is CA#874 a print or an original painting?

An original. CA#874 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of CA#874 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
