About this painting

Rows of orange, red, coral and cream tulips crowd the foreground of a mountain valley, each cup a single loaded knife stroke above blade-like teal and green leaves. They shrink as they recede, from big open blooms along the bottom edge to tiny flecks at the far side of the field, which gives the canvas real depth.

Beyond a strip of gold meadow the mountains form a V, dark navy and teal slopes framing a central peak lit peach and pink, with violet shadows and patches of snow. White clouds sit on a pale aqua sky in thick, piled strokes, as raised as the flowers below.

CA#959 is an original colorful floral painting showing colourful tulip field below rainbow-toned mountains, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

The receding field needs a few metres of viewing distance for its perspective to open up, so place it facing a lobby entrance or on the landing wall a staircase climbs towards. Orange and rust leather, terracotta, walnut and teal velvet all repeat its colours. Warm tones dominate, so on a cool white or blue-grey wall it brings heat, while on cream or sand it looks softer and more pastoral.

Specified for lobby & reception, corridor & circulation, entryway & hallway and living room; it reads as bold and uplifting.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for CA#959 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on CA#959 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What season does CA#959 suggest?

Spring. Tulips flower in April and May across most temperate countries, and the snow still lying on the peaks fits that time of year. It suits a lobby that changes its art with the seasons, or a room meant to feel like spring all year.

Do the tulips in CA#959 look like real tulips up close?

Up close they are abstract marks: one curved knife stroke for the cup, a flick of a second colour for the inner petal and a long teal stroke for each leaf. Step back two or three metres and they settle into recognisable tulips standing in rows.

Is CA#959 a print or an original painting?

An original. CA#959 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of CA#959 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
