About this painting

Red poppies crowd the bottom of a summer meadow and thin out as they rise, until only a few loose petals drift up into a pale blue sky. Every flower is a single press of the palette knife: crimson and scarlet cups, orange and coral blooms, magenta and white sparks among curving green stems.

The sky is worked too, with short upward flicks of white and cornflower blue running across it like grass bent by wind, so the whole canvas seems to lean to the right. Texture is heaviest along the lower edge, where the petals stack in layers.

CA#730 is an original colorful floral painting showing red and orange poppies in a wildflower meadow under a blue sky, knife impasto, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Along a hotel corridor or in a guest room it brings daylight colour to walls that usually have none, and the red base sits well above a bench, console or bedside table. White walls, pale ash, sage textiles and clear glass keep it fresh; dark walls make the red heavier and push the sky forward. The knife ridges show best under grazing light from a picture light fitted close to the top edge.

Specified for corridor & circulation, entryway & hallway, guest room & suite and living room; it reads as uplifting and bold.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for CA#730 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on CA#730 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Why do the flowers in CA#730 seem to be blowing to the right?

The stems curve rightwards, the loose petals scatter upward in the same direction and the strokes in the sky follow suit. Together they suggest a breeze crossing the meadow, which keeps the dense band of red at the bottom from feeling static.

What pairs well with CA#730 on a gallery wall?

A calmer landscape or seascape with a similar pale blue sky makes a natural partner, since the two skies connect across the gap. Avoid hanging it beside another dense red floral; the poppies need neutral space or quieter colour on each side to keep their punch.

Is CA#730 a print or an original painting?

An original. CA#730 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of CA#730 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
