About this painting

A crowd of coral-red roses presses across the middle of a square canvas, each bloom a tight spiral cut with the knife around a crimson heart. Above them the ground is all broken pink flakes, so the flowers seem to dissolve upward into loose petals; below, green leaves and a few darker buds hang into a sky-blue field slashed with navy, black and white.

The split is close to half and half, warm over cold. Paint is heaviest in the rose heads and in the white strokes at the lower right, which stand up in ridges, while small lime and yellow touches keep the pink from going flat.

CA#844 is an original colorful floral painting showing mass of red-pink roses with green leaves over a pink and blue knife-painted ground, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 10 standard sizes run from 24×24 in (61×61 cm) to 72×72 in (183×183 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

The square holds its own on a dark wall: walnut or smoked-oak panelling, charcoal plaster, or the bottle-green of a bar. Above a three-seat sofa or a stretch of banquette, its width matches the seating below. In a guest suite, use the wall beside the window so daylight crosses the ridged petals at an angle. Brass, blush velvet and pale marble all repeat its colours.

Specified for guest room & suite, bedroom, restaurant & bar and living room; it reads as romantic and bold.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for CA#844 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 24×24 in to 72×72 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on CA#844 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Why is the lower half of CA#844 blue when the roses are red?

The blue gives the roses something to push against. Coral-red and sky blue are near-complements, and set side by side they sharpen one another, while the navy and black strokes underneath give the bouquet weight, as if it rests in shadow.

What should hang near CA#844 on a neighbouring wall?

Something calm drawn from one of its two halves: a pale blue abstract, a soft pink textured canvas or a white relief. Avoid a second busy floral close by. The square already carries a lot of colour, and a quieter companion lets the roses stay in charge.

Is CA#844 a print or an original painting?

An original. CA#844 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of CA#844 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
