About this painting

Three open peonies crowd the middle of the canvas: a white bloom blushing pink at its heart, a softer pink one above it, and a deep magenta head leaning in from the right. A small white blossom with yellow stamens is tucked into the top right corner, and green leaves fan out between and below the flowers.

Each petal is a single curved, loaded stroke, white dragged over pink, so the flowers look ruffled rather than drawn. The ground runs from misty mauve-grey at the top to warm brown at the base, and the upper left stays nearly empty, which lets the white peony hold most of the light.

HA#059 is an original hyperrealist floral painting showing pink, white and magenta peonies with a small white blossom and green leaves on a mauve-brown ground, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 24×20 in (61×51 cm) to 80×60 in (203×153 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Centred above a dining-room sideboard or on a bistro's rear wall, the wide format sits at the height of seated diners and reads well across a table. Blush plaster, putty or deep plum walls flatter the mauve ground; stark white makes the brown base look heavy. Keep bulbs warm-white: cold daylight lamps grey the background and dull the magenta, while warm light makes it glow in the evening.

Specified for restaurant & bar, dining room, living room and guest room & suite; it reads as romantic and cozy & warm.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for HA#059 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 24×20 in to 80×60 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on HA#059 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What do peonies like those in HA#059 usually stand for?

Peonies are widely linked with romance and prosperity, and they are a traditional choice for weddings and anniversaries. The mix here gives both sides of that reading: the white bloom feels fresh and quiet, the magenta one celebratory.

Which colour in HA#059 should lead the soft furnishings?

Use the dusty mauve of the background for larger surfaces such as curtains or upholstery, and keep the magenta for one accent, a cushion or a single chair. Taking the pale pink for everything makes a room sweet; the mauve keeps it grown-up and leaves the flowers as the brightest thing on the wall.

Is HA#059 a print or an original painting?

An original. HA#059 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of HA#059 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
