About this painting

A round white vase with a curled handle spills over with coral peonies, yellow roses, crimson and lilac blooms, and one wilted flower head has already dropped to the table beside it.

The bouquet spreads far wider than its vase: small yellow sprays reach out to the left while a heavy pink cabbage rose leans to the right. Behind it the gray ground darkens to olive on the right, so the pale petals there glow. The polished tabletop picks up streaks of lilac, peach and teal, a stray green leaf and loose petals. The brushwork is wet and blended, softening every edge.

IA#1164 is an original impressionist still life painting showing still life of pink, yellow and red flowers in a white vase with fallen petals, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 24×20 in (61×51 cm) to 80×60 in (203×153 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Since a painted tabletop runs along the bottom, the canvas looks most natural hung fairly low over a real surface, such as a sideboard, a buffet counter or a console at the end of the room, with the two tables roughly in line. Warm evening light turns the gray ground taupe and deepens the coral. In a bedroom, keep the textiles dove gray or blush so the bouquet supplies the colour.

Specified for restaurant & bar, dining room, guest room & suite and bedroom; it reads as romantic and peaceful.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for IA#1164 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 24×20 in to 80×60 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on IA#1164 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What do the fallen petals and the dropped flower in IA#1164 add?

A moment in time. The arrangement is at full bloom but already shedding, and in still-life painting fallen petals are often read as a gentle reminder that beauty passes. They also give the lower edge something to look at, so the picture does not stop abruptly at the vase.

How does IA#1164 behave on a gray or greige wall?

It settles in well. The background is already a soft gray, so the canvas edges almost dissolve into a gray or greige wall and the flowers seem to come forward. Against stark white the same ground can look dull by comparison, so a slightly tinted wall usually flatters it more.

Is IA#1164 a print or an original painting?

An original. IA#1164 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of IA#1164 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
