About this painting

Half a dozen open roses in shell pink and coral tumble diagonally from the top left of the canvas toward the lower centre, their petals swirled into thick spirals of paint around small rust-coloured hearts. Mint, sage, peach and cocoa flecks crowd the gaps between the upper blooms.

The right side and the bottom are left almost bare, a misty cream and dove grey, with thin drips running down from the lowest roses like stems and one coral petal floating loose. Busy and broken in the corner, soft and open elsewhere, the flowers seem to drift across the canvas rather than sit in a vase.

IA#872 is an original impressionist floral painting showing loose pastel pink roses with mint accents on cream, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Pale enough for a blush, cream or soft grey wall, it suits a bedroom wall opposite the window, where daylight falls straight onto the raised petals, or a dressing area beside a mirror. In a spa reception the mint flecks can be picked up in towels or a celadon vase. Cane, brass and warm timber keep its pinks soft and rosy, and it is light enough in tone for a small hallway.

Specified for guest room & suite, spa & wellness, bedroom and entryway & hallway; it reads as romantic and peaceful.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for IA#872 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on IA#872 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Why does IA#872 leave so much of the canvas empty?

The bare cream and grey ground on the right and at the bottom gives the roses room and lets them read as a loose spray rather than a packed bouquet. It also keeps the painting light, which matters on a small bedroom or hallway wall where a full floral can feel crowded.

What do the mint and brown flecks add to IA#872?

Contrast. Without them the roses would melt into the cream ground. The cool mint and sage and the small cocoa-brown strokes give the pinks something to push against and suggest leaves and buds without drawing any. They also give a designer two quieter colours to repeat in fabric.

Is IA#872 a print or an original painting?

An original. IA#872 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of IA#872 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
