Sculpted blush butterfly wing textured canvas painting

Half a butterfly in pale pink relief rises from the right edge of a cream canvas, as if the body sat just beyond the edge of the picture.

Both the upper and lower wing are there, their outlines raised in a crisp rim and their veins pressed into the paste as fine ridges. The pink deepens toward the hidden body, where pale gold specks gather, and fades almost to white at the wingtips. A swallowtail streamer curls down at the lower left, and one thin antenna line rises near the top. The left half is bare cream plaster with a sandy grain.
