About this painting

Peonies crowd out of a small silver-grey vase in a mass far wider than the vessel holding them, rose-pink heads packed around two creamy white blooms with butter-yellow hearts. The petals are laid in thick, curling strokes that keep their ridges, and fine dark stems flick outward from the bouquet until they touch the edges of the canvas.

Behind, the ground fades from powder blue at the upper left to warm peach on the right. A few dropped petals and one fallen pink bloom rest on the tabletop below, so the picture settles at its base instead of stopping at the vase.

IA#779 is an original impressionist floral painting showing pink and white peony bouquet in a silver vase with splattered strokes, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

With stems and spatter flung all the way to the edges, the canvas needs clear wall around it and looks cramped when squeezed between door frames or shelving. Try it on the wall that meets guests as they step through a front door, behind a restaurant's host stand, or above a living-room sideboard with pale oak and soft white paint. Warm 2700K lamps bring up the peach side of the background; cooler daylight favours the blue corner.

Specified for lobby & reception, restaurant & bar, entryway & hallway and living room; it reads as romantic and uplifting.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for IA#779 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on IA#779 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Do the peonies in IA#779 carry a meaning worth knowing for a hotel or restaurant?

Across much of East Asia peonies stand for wealth and honour, and Western florists reach for them at weddings as a flower of romance, so the subject sits naturally in bridal suites and banqueting rooms. In IA#779 the heads are full and wide open, so the mood leans to abundance rather than restraint.

How do the raised petal strokes of IA#779 look under a ceiling downlight?

The ridges catch the light and throw small shadows, so the white and cream blooms look sculpted and the pink ones deepen in their folds. Flat, frontal lighting softens that effect into a smoother, more pastel picture, which may suit a quieter lounge better.

Is IA#779 a print or an original painting?

An original. IA#779 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of IA#779 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
