About this painting

A wide peony opens in white and blush pink across the top of the canvas, gold stamens clustered at its heart, while a second bloom pushes in from the left edge.

Petals are laid on thickly, each stroke leaving a ridge of white along its rim, so the flower stands up off the grey. Below, two leaves are painted in gold and pick up light quite differently from the matte petals. The pale grey ground is streaked with deliberate runs of thinned paint that fall from the top edge and from under the leaves, a loose, unfinished foil to the careful bloom.

HA#169 is an original hyperrealist floral painting showing large pale pink peony bloom with gold leaves on a dripping grey ground, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Set a spotlight off to one side, not dead ahead, so the ridged petals throw small shadows and the gold changes as people move past: on the wall beside a reception desk, behind a boutique counter, or over a cream sofa. Warm white around 3000K keeps the blush pink rosy; cold LED pushes it toward grey. Champagne or brass hardware, travertine and oatmeal or blush upholstery complete the scheme without competing with it.

Specified for lobby & reception, gallery & retail, living room and bedroom; it reads as romantic and uplifting.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for HA#169 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on HA#169 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Are the drips in HA#169 intentional?

Yes. Thinned grey paint is allowed to run down from the top edge and from beneath the gold leaves before it dries. The runs are part of the design, but gravity rather than the brush decides each one's path, so no two canvases carry exactly the same drips.

Could HA#169 be painted in colours other than blush pink and gold?

Yes. The blush can shift to ivory on white, peach or lilac, and the gold leaves can become champagne or a silver tone, while the grey drip ground and the thick petal ridges stay as they are. Send swatches from the scheme to match.

Is HA#169 a print or an original painting?

An original. HA#169 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of HA#169 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
