About this painting

Two red-crowned cranes stand beneath a flowering peach tree, one stretching its neck up towards the blossom from the top of a weathered rock. The second crane waits on the grass at centre, neck curved in an S and black tail feathers fanned. Pink blossom fills the upper left on a curving brown trunk, tall bamboo rises on the right, and a small pale blue butterfly hovers between the branches.

A lime-green haze behind the birds reads as morning light. The surface is worked in thick palette-knife impasto, heaviest on the pitted rock and the grassy foreground, where the paint stands in ridges and swirls.

HA#491 is an original hyperrealist animal painting showing two red-crowned cranes among pink peach blossoms and bamboo on a pale green ground, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Soft pinks and spring greens keep the canvas gentle enough for a bedroom or guest suite, while the crane subject gives it presence in a hotel spa or a quiet lounge where guests linger over tea. Pair it with celadon, blush or cream walls, light rattan and bleached oak; dark surroundings make the pastels look faded. Aim a narrow beam down at a steep angle and the ridged rock and grass will throw small shadows.

Specified for spa & wellness, guest room & suite, corridor & circulation and bedroom; it reads as peaceful and uplifting.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for HA#491 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on HA#491 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Why does HA#491 show a pair of cranes rather than a flock?

A pair is the usual choice when cranes are meant to suggest a lasting partnership, because red-crowned cranes mate for life. One bird reaches up into the blossom while the other waits on the grass below, so the scene reads as a quiet exchange between two, a fitting subject for a wedding suite or an anniversary.

What is the holed stone the crane stands on in HA#491?

It looks like a weathered, pitted garden rock of the kind prized in classical Chinese gardens and often called a scholar's rock. It gives the right-hand crane a raised perch and carries the heaviest knife texture on the canvas, with hollows and ridges built up in grey, brown and green until the stone looks almost carved.

Is HA#491 a print or an original painting?

An original. HA#491 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of HA#491 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
