About this painting

Peonies, a pale lily and clusters of small yellow blossoms spill across a creamy white ground, as though a bouquet had been tossed onto a tablecloth.

The arrangement runs on a diagonal from the lily at the upper left to a mass of pink peonies on the right, with a crimson tulip-like bud at the top, a violet bloom on the left and a scarlet flower near the middle. Much of the paint sits in thick, glossy dabs, many shaped like small discs, so the heart of the bouquet has a raised, pebbled surface. Orange, lime and violet spatter drifts out into the empty corners.

CA#891 is an original colorful floral painting showing bright pink, yellow and purple bouquet with green leaves and paint splatter on white, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 10 standard sizes run from 24×24 in (61×61 cm) to 72×72 in (183×183 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Because the ground is almost white, it gives a guest suite or bedroom plenty of colour without darkening the wall. Square, it sits centred over a double bed or a dining sideboard, and at 48 inches or more it spans the wall between a pair of bedside lamps. Hang it on warm white rather than stark blue-white paint, which can make the cream ground look grubby by comparison.

Specified for guest room & suite, living room, bedroom and dining room; it reads as uplifting and romantic.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for CA#891 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 24×24 in to 72×72 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on CA#891 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Why is so much of CA#891 left white?

The open cream ground lets the bouquet feel loose and airy rather than packed into a vase. It also carries the spatter: the flicks of orange, lime and violet only show because they land on clean white, and they soften the line where flowers meet bare canvas.

What do the small round dabs in CA#891 look like in side light?

They look like a scatter of glossy beads. Each disc of yellow, pink or coral paint is laid on thickly and catches its own highlight, so a low lamp or late sun picks out the middle of the bouquet against the flatter leaves and spatter around it.

Is CA#891 a print or an original painting?

An original. CA#891 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of CA#891 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
